J. K. Handicrafts

We've been here on Bazdaran Street for a while now. It’s right near Dr. Athnniwala’s place if you're looking for us. J. K. Handicrafts is basically just us making things and selling them from the shop. We deal with all sorts of handcrafted items. People come by when they need something specific or just want to see what's new on the shelves. It’s a busy little area, especially during the day. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just stacks of work and tools everywhere. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here because there’s so much stuff packed in. Most days we are just busy finishing orders or talking to people who walk in off the street. We try to keep things organized but with handicrafts, there's always a bit of a mess. It’s just how it goes when you’re working with your hands. The neighborhood knows us well enough by now. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. If you’re ever passing by the clinic nearby, you’ll see our sign. We usually have the doors open unless the weather is really bad. It’s a simple setup. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the items are ready when people need them. Nothing too complicated about it. We like being part of this local market. It feels like home after all these years of being in the same spot.
