Anant Exports

We are based at the Anant Cold Storage Premises on Chakrata Road. It is quite a specific place to have an office, and you can always hear the low hum of the refrigeration units running in the background. The road itself is usually busy with people heading in and out of the city, so there is plenty to see if you look out the window. We spend our days handling the export side of things, which involves a lot of checking lists and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It is not the most glamorous work, but it keeps us moving. The premises are sturdy and functional, which is exactly what we need for this kind of business. We do not have any big signs or bright lights to attract attention. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or people we have known for years. Sometimes the weather gets really dusty along Chakrata Road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the desks. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much essential for getting through the afternoon. It is a bit noisy when the heavy vehicles pull in, but you get used to that after the first week. We are just a regular export outfit doing our thing here. It is a lot of routine, but we don't mind it much. It feels good to be part of the local landscape and help keep the flow of goods moving smoothly.
