Khnc Agro Private Limited is located in a small village called Patluka. It’s near Maharajganj in the Rohtas district, which is a place with a lot of farming history. Abhishek Kumar runs the day-to-day things here at the village level. Life in the village is very different from the big cities like Patna; things move a bit slower but the work is still very hard. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields or in the small warehouse we managed to build. The air is definitely better out here, even if the roads are a bit bumpy and hard on the trucks. We deal with the local crops like rice and wheat. Rohtas is famous for its farming, so we fit right in with the rest of the community. Sometimes the heavy rains make it almost impossible to get to the post office in Maharajganj, but we always manage somehow. We don’t have a big website or any fancy advertisements, just word of mouth and the work we do. Most of our friends and family are involved in the business one way or another. It’s honest work that makes you tired by sunset. We wake up early, check the clouds, and see what needs doing for the day. Sometimes it’s loading heavy sacks onto a cart, other times it’s checking the quality of the new seeds. We don’t use any fancy machines, just the usual tools. It’s been our whole life for a good while now.
