Dumarisheo Sagar Farmers Producer Company Limited

We operate out of the Sheosagar block in Rohtas. Our main point of contact is Chhotelal Kumar, and our office is at his house, number 223, in Tola Shahpur. This is part of the Dumari panchayat. We are a collective of farmers who wanted to pool our resources. Being in Sheosagar, we are surrounded by people who have been farming for generations. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It's more about sitting down with a cup of tea and figuring out how to handle the next harvest. The name Dumarisheo Sagar reflects our local ties to both Dumari and Sheosagar. We handle the logistical side of things, like getting supplies and organizing the transport of crops. It can be a bit disorganized at times, as things in a village often are, but we always find a way to get through it. We don't have a lot of money for advertising, and we don't really need it. Everyone in the village knows where Chhotelal lives and what we do there. We spend a lot of time worrying about the price of fuel and the timing of the rains. It’s a practical life, and we take it one day at a time. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to make sure the farmers in our neighborhood can keep their farms running.
