Bharyali Kaimur Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Karaundi village in the Bhabua block. We use Sri Jawala Sah's house, which is number 255, as our main point of contact. It’s a real rural setup here in Kaimur. We are all farmers who grew up around these fields. Working together as a producer company was just the next step for us. It’s better than trying to sell everything on your own. Most days we are out in the village or over in Jagebarawn. The work is never really finished when you're dealing with land and crops. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment in the office, just the basics. It's a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but that’s where the farms are. We talk about the rain and the soil more than anything else. It's a simple life, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or shiny posters. We just want to get our produce to the right places. Sometimes the meetings go long and we end up drinking a lot of tea. That's just how we do things in Karaundi. It's a community effort, really. Everyone knows everyone else, which makes the business side of it feel more like family work. We’re just trying to do better for our families and our village. It’s a long road but we’re on it together. Every season brings something different.
