Akodhi Gola Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Akodhi Gola Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited, is based in Village Chandi. That is over in the Akorhi Gola block of Rohtas. We are just a bunch of local people who decided it was time to work together on the farming side of things. The office is right there in Akorhi Bazar, so it is easy to find if you are passing through. Rohtas is a good place for farming but it has its own sets of problems. We started this because doing everything alone was getting too difficult for the small farmers in our village. Most of the time, we are just figuring things out as we go. It is not like we have a big handbook for this. We meet up and talk about the seeds or the prices we are seeing in the market. The pin code is 821301 if that helps locate us. We don't use much technology, just the usual tools and some common sense. Sometimes the meetings take a long time because everyone has an opinion. But that is how it works in a small place like Chandi. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want the farmers around Akorhi Gola to have a fair shake at selling what they grow. It is a slow process and we are learning every day. Just a local setup for local folks. There is always someone around the office if you need to chat about the local crops.
