Our producer group is based in Gumuda, specifically around the Narayan Guda area. We use Narayan Gomanga’s place as our official contact address for all the paperwork. We are known as Prempahad Farmers Producer Company Limited. It sounds like a big, formal name, but we are just local farmers from this specific part of the region. We mostly focus our energy on what grows well in the soil we have here. Farming around Gumuda has its fair share of challenges, but when we work together as a group, the burden feels a bit less heavy on each individual person. We are not a big company with a lot of staff members. It is really just us, the people who actually own the land and do the planting ourselves. We started this whole thing because we wanted to have more of a say in how our produce is sold at the market.
