You can find us over in Madiguda, which is part of the Dangasorada area in Rayagada. Our office is set up at Aju Kumar Bredeka’s place. Dangasorada Farmer Producer Company Limited was started by people here who just wanted to work together instead of trying to do everything alone. It is a long way from the big cities, and that is fine by us. We spend our time talking about the soil, the rain, and whatever crops we are focusing on this season. It’s a very local thing. We don't have a big staff or a fancy website. Most of our communication happens face-to-face when someone walks into the office at Madiguda. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the area, but for us, it’s just home. We have to deal with a lot of challenges, like getting things transported through the hilly areas of Rayagada, but we make do. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just farming and business mixed together in a way that makes sense for the folks living here. We don't always get everything right on the first try, but we are honest about it. It’s a slow and steady process, building something like this in a place like Dangasorada. We just take it day by day and see what the next season brings us.
