Maa Majhigouri Farmers Producer Companylimited

Our group is based in Sriram Nagar, over in Gunupur. We call ourselves Maa Majhigouri. It is named after the goddess, like many things around here. Most of the people involved are just regular farmers who have been working the soil for many years. We are not some big city business. We are just a bunch of neighbors who finally thought it was time to work together. Being in Gunupur, we see a lot of different crops coming in and out. Sometimes we have too much of one thing and need to find a buyer before it goes bad. That is why we started this company. It is mostly about the logistics of getting things from the farm to the market. We spend a lot of time talking about prices and truck transport. Our office in Sriram Nagar is simple. Just a desk, some old chairs, and a lot of talk. We do not use fancy words or have big meetings with slides and screens. We just sit down and figure out who has what ready for harvest this week. It gets noisy when everyone shows up at once to complain about the pests or the price of fuel. But that is how it goes in a small town. We try to help each other out when the water is low. It is a lot of manual labor still. We are just trying to make it a bit easier for everyone in our circle.
