Saraswati Civil Services

We are located on the fourth floor of Jagannath Tower, right on Circular Road in Ranchi. It is a busy part of town, so the climb up the stairs can be a bit much if the lift is acting up again. The office itself is quite plain. We have a lot of shelves filled with old files and books about history and law. Since we focus on civil services, there is always a lot of reading material lying around. It’s not a very big space, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is here at once. We don't have a corporate staff or a marketing team. It’s just us doing the work. We spend our days looking at maps and news reports. The noise from the traffic on Circular Road is always there in the background, but we’ve mostly stopped noticing it. We’ve seen many people come through these doors, some very determined and some just starting out. We don't have a polished pitch to give anyone. We just tell them where the books are and where to sit. It’s a quiet, steady kind of place. We keep the lights on late most nights because there is always something more to read. It’s not a flashy life, but it is what we do here in Ranchi. We just keep moving forward with the work, one day after another.
