Mecon Limited

We are the IT Services group for Mecon Limited, based out of Ranchi 834002. It’s exactly what you’d expect from an IT office. Lots of cables, some humming servers, and people staring at monitors for hours. We are located in the main hub area. It’s not very glamorous work. Most of our time is spent fixing things that stopped working or setting up new stuff for the other departments. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a lot of sticky notes. Ranchi is a decent place to be based. The weather is usually okay, though the rains can be a bit much. We aren't a big tech startup. We are just a part of a larger company making sure the computers stay on. Sometimes we have to explain things three times, and sometimes we forget our own passwords. It happens. We drink way too much coffee and stay late when the system goes down. It’s a bit chaotic but we have a system that works for us. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just fix the tech and move on to the next problem. That’s the life here at the IT branch in 834002. Just honest work with computers and trying to keep the internet running for everyone.
