Our spot is on Hindpiri 3rd Street in Ranchi. We’re set up at Mr. Nirmal Kumar Saha’s place. It’s a narrow street, so parking is always a bit of a gamble. Jharkhand has its own rhythm, and we’ve settled into it nicely over the years. The pin code is 834001. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we keep our files and computers. It’s nothing like those big glass buildings you see in movies. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we get along well enough. We have a small stove for making tea, which gets used a lot throughout the day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but no one really has the time to worry about that. We’re more focused on getting the reports done and making sure the site visits are scheduled. It’s a practical setup for a team that spends a lot of time out in the field anyway. When we are here, we just work through the pile of tasks on our desks. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat. It feels like a real part of the community. We just do our bit and keep things honest. That’s how we operate in Ranchi. It's just a regular group of people getting through the work day.
