Working out of an apartment is actually quite nice because it stays a bit quieter than a main road office. We have a few rooms set up with tables and our computers. It is a simple environment. We don’t have a sign on the door or anything like that. Most people who come to see us already know where we are. We have been in Ranchi for a long time and we like the pace of life here in Doranda. Our day usually starts around nine, and we just work through whatever projects we have on hand. There is no corporate ladder to climb here. We are just a small group of people who know how to do our jobs. Sometimes we share a meal in the small kitchen area we have. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans about being the best. We just try to be reliable and do what we say we will do. The Satyam Apartment is a good building, and we have nice neighbors. It feels like a very human way to run a business. We don’t need much more than a decent internet connection and some quiet time to think. It is just a regular office for regular folks in Ranchi.
