We have our setup at A 27 in the Harmu Colony area of Ranchi. This is the Jharkhand branch of Meinhardt Consultants India Pvt Ltd. Harmu Colony is a pretty well-known spot, so people find us without too much trouble. The office itself is practical. We have some tables, chairs, and computers set up for the consulting work we do. It’s not a place where you’ll find a lot of luxury. We focus more on getting the drawings and reports finished. Ranchi is growing fast, and being in a colony like this helps us stay connected to what’s happening on the ground. We don’t have a receptionist to greet you with a script. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just lets you in. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and technical data. Sometimes we have to go out to sites across Jharkhand, so the office might be a bit quiet on those days. We keep a kettle for making tea during the long afternoons. The walls have some old project photos pinned up. It’s a working environment, plain and simple. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for the staff to get to. We just try to do a solid job every day and keep our files organized. There are no big speeches here, just the sound of keyboards and occasional meetings to discuss the daily workload.
