Mecon Ltd has its spot at K 190 in Shyamali Colony. Ranchi is a good place to be, and this 834002 area is where we’ve settled in. Our office isn't anything you’d call high-end. It’s a basic building where we spend our days getting things sorted. We have some desks, a few computers, and a lot of empty tea cups by the end of the afternoon. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which we like. It lets us get on with our tasks without too much distraction. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to tell us how to sound professional. We just speak like normal people because that’s what we are. If something breaks, we usually try to fix it ourselves before calling anyone. The office at K 190 feels like a second home to many of us. We’ve been here long enough that we know which floorboards creak and which window gets the best sunlight in the winter. We don’t put on airs or try to act like a giant corporation. We are just a local bunch working for Mecon Ltd. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and other days we leave right on time to beat the traffic. It’s a very grounded way of working. There are no missions or visions written on the walls, just a calendar and some notes tacked up with tape. It’s just a real place for real work.
