Peter Agro Industries Private Limited operates out of Jatni, which is in the Khordha district of Orissa. Our place is at Chintamani Nagar, right near the Nali Matha temple, which is a well-known landmark for anyone around here. We work out of Swagatika Mohanty’s premises. The area is usually quite lively, and we are right in the thick of it. We deal with various agro-industrial tasks, which basically means we spend our time thinking about how to process what comes off the local farms. It is a lot of logistics and making sure the machinery is running like it should. We aren't a huge factory with thousands of workers, just a small, dedicated group of people who know how to handle the equipment and the produce. The office is simple and functional, mostly used for keeping our records straight and meeting with the local suppliers. We often have people dropping in to talk about the current market or to see how the processing is going. We don't use any big words to describe what we do because it's pretty straightforward. We take the raw materials from the land and try to do something useful with them. It is hard work and the days can be long, but we have a good rhythm going. Being near the temple means there is always a bit of peace even when the work gets a bit hectic. We just do our best to stay productive and useful.
