Garadapur Agrofresh Farmers Producer Company Limited. It started as a way for us local folks in Korua to work together. We are located over at Hemaprava Nayak’s place. Mostly we deal with what the farmers here grow. It isn't anything fancy, just a group trying to make things work better for everyone in the village. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, but we keep going. The office is simple. We spend a lot of time talking about crops and prices. You can find us right in Korua near the post office. People come by to drop off their harvest or just to see what's happening. It’s been a learning process for all of us since we started this producer company. We handle things as they come, nothing is really set in stone. If you know the area, it's easy to spot. The paperwork takes up some time, but the real work is outside in the fields. We don't have big machines or anything, just what we can manage. Everyone helps out when they can. It’s pretty quiet most days unless it’s harvest time. Then it gets really busy around here. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair deal. That’s why we grouped up in the first place. Not much more to say than that, really. We are just local people doing our bit. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything moving. We hope to keep doing this for a long time.
