Vrundavan Sweets

Vrundavan Sweets is right here on Kattriguppe Main Road in the Thergaon KEB Layout area. It is a small place, mostly just busy with people coming in for snacks and boxes of sweets throughout the day. We spend most of our mornings getting the milk delivered and starting the boilers. It gets pretty hot in the kitchen, especially during the festival months when everyone wants laddoos and barfis at the same time. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when the afternoon rush hits, but we manage. The glass counters are always getting fingerprints on them from kids looking at the colorful pieces. We try to keep things clean and fresh, making batches as we go rather than letting things sit for too long. My father started this because he liked the trade, and now we just keep it going every day from morning till late evening. It is not fancy here. There are a few stools if you want to eat a samosa quickly, but most people take their parcels home. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much sometimes, making parking a headache for our customers, yet they still show up. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s just a regular local shop where we focus on the work. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. People just know where we are. That is how it has always been for us here.
