Shri Sai Fataka Mart

Shri Sai Fataka Mart is tucked away over here near Pratap Chowk in the Bibvewadi area. If you know Gaurav Path, you’ve probably passed by us without thinking much about it unless it’s festival season. We are also close to Ranna Park and Ghatlodia, so we get people coming in from all those spots. Running a firework shop is mostly about waiting for the big holidays to arrive. During the off-season, things stay pretty quiet and we spend a lot of time just checking inventory and making sure everything is stored the right way. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes around and keeping the place clean. When the rush starts, it gets really loud and hectic around here. We have all kinds of crackers and sparklers piled up. It's not a polished store by any means. We just set things up on the tables and help people find what they like. Families come in with their kids, and it gets a bit chaotic with everyone talking at once. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything goes smoothly. The location at the chowk is good because people can find us easily. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know the local crowd well. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we keep the doors open and just get on with the day’s tasks as they come. It is what it is.
