Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale

We have been at 777 Sadashiv Peth on Bajirao Road for a long time now. It gets busy here, especially during the festival season when everyone wants their sweets and snacks. The shop is usually crowded, and we try to keep up with the demand as much as we can. Working at Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale means seeing a lot of faces every day. Some people come in for just a small packet of bakarwadi, while others are buying boxes for a big wedding or a family function. It is a lot of work back in the kitchen making sure everything is ready. We open early and stay late most days. The traffic outside on Bajirao Road can be a bit much sometimes, but that is just part of being in this area. Our staff knows most of the regulars by name. We don't really do fancy things; we just focus on the food and getting people what they need. Sometimes we run out of things if the day is busier than we thought it would be. That is just how it goes with fresh snacks. People seem to appreciate that we stay consistent. We are just a local spot where you can get your snacks and go about your day. It isn't a quiet place, but it is home for us. If you are walking down Sadashiv Peth, you will probably see the line. We just keep doing what we do.
