You can find Vidhyarthi Prakashan over in the Parvati Adarsh Market on the Ring Road. We are situated right in the Vainkatesh Apartment building. Being in Surat, there is always a lot of movement outside, especially with the market being so close by. We spend most of our time surrounded by stacks of paper and books. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much as we can on the shelves for anyone who walks in. The shop doesn't look like those big chain bookstores you see in the malls. It is more of a practical workspace where we manage our publishing tasks. We handle a lot of educational materials and things that students might need for their classes. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the entrance when a new shipment arrives, but we clear it out as fast as we can. It’s a family-style environment here, where everyone chips in with the packing or answering the phone. We’ve seen the Ring Road area change quite a bit over the years, yet we stay right here in the same spot. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the market, but it keeps us on our toes. We don’t have any fancy displays, just rows of books and the smell of ink. If you need something specific, you usually have to ask because we know the stacks better than anyone else does. That way, you don't spend all day searching.
