Rasik Vachanalaya

Rasik Vachanalaya is situated over in Salumbre, specifically at the Vailo Complex in the 7th Phase. It is a quiet corner for the most part. We have shelves of books that need dusting quite often. People from the 7th Phase usually just drop in to see what is new or return what they borrowed last week. The Vailo Complex is not the newest building, but it works for us. We keep a ledger on the main desk to track everything. Sometimes we lose a pen or two under the piles of paper. The air in here smells like old paper and ink, which is fine if you like that sort of thing. We do not have fancy computers to scan things; we just use the old-fashioned way. It keeps our brains sharp. Salumbre is a nice area, though it is growing faster than we can keep up with. We have seen a lot of changes from our window in the Vailo Complex. Not everything stays the same, but the books do. We spend our afternoons organizing the stacks and making sure nothing is falling over. It is not high-speed work. It is just us doing what we do every day. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back window, so we have to move the books around. We know our regulars by their first names and what they like to read. It is a small community thing we have going here. Nothing too flashy, just a local spot.
