We’ve been here at 683 Budhwar Peth for a long time now. It’s a busy corner, especially around the 17th Cross and 24th Main area. People usually find us when they are looking for something specific to read or just walking through the 1st Sector. The shop isn't fancy. There are stacks of books everywhere, and sometimes it takes a minute to find what you need because things get moved around. My father started this, and I just kept it going. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the regulars to stop by. Sometimes people just come in to talk about what’s new or to ask if we’ve seen a certain title. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when the sun is down. We try to keep the shelves organized, but it’s a lot of work with so many different genres and authors. If you're near the 17th Cross, you’ll see our sign. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where we do our business every day. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the people who live around here and the folks who’ve been coming to us for years. It’s a quiet life mostly, just dealing with paper and ink. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we opened, but we’re still here at the same spot in Budhwar Peth, doing the same thing we always did.
