Victoria Garden is tucked away in the Elpro Compound on Link Road. It’s right across from Darshan Hall, which most people around Chinchwad know. We’ve got a good amount of space here, but it’s a constant battle with the weather to keep the greenery looking decent. Most days, you’ll find us out there checking the grass or fixing a fence. We host a lot of weddings and family gatherings because of the size. It gets pretty chaotic during the peak season. One day it’s quiet and we’re just sitting around having tea, and the next, there are trucks unloading decorations and people shouting directions. We don’t have a big office or a bunch of managers. It’s just a few of us making sure the gates are open and the lights work. Chinchwad has changed so much with all the new buildings and traffic on Link Road, but our spot feels a bit tucked away from that noise. We’ve had families come back to us for years, first for a birthday and then years later for a wedding. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Cleaning up after a big party at two in the morning isn't fun, but it’s part of the job. We don’t pretend to be a five-star resort; we’re just a garden space where people can get together and have a decent time without too many rules.
