Vedant Flour Mill

We are at Wadgaon Sheri Road, specifically in Navratna Housing Society. The place is also known for the Vedika Mirchi Kandap Kenra, so we handle both grain and spices. Grinding chilies is a whole different thing compared to wheat. It makes everyone sneeze if we aren't careful with the covers. The mill is in a busy spot near Vitthal Nagar and Digambar Nagar. There is always noise from the road and the sound of our own machines clattering away. We have bags of grain on one side and bags of dried spices on the other. It is a small shop, but we make the most of the space. People from the housing society come in frequently. We know who likes their flour coarse and who wants it really fine. The machines need a lot of looking after because the spice grinding can be tough on the metal. We spend our afternoons balancing the work and making sure everything is labeled right. It is dusty and can be a bit messy, especially when we are busy. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us doing the heavy work and talking to the regulars. It’s a practical business. We’ve been in Vadgaon Sheri for a while and have seen the neighborhood grow around us. We just keep doing what we do, making sure the motor stays running and the bags get filled correctly every single day.
