San Marzano India operates out of a housing society in Katraj. We are located at Survey Number 78, in the Guru Dev Datta Co-operative Housing Society. It’s a bit of a drive from the center of Pune, but it’s a peaceful spot. Our office is basically a converted apartment within the complex. It’s not a big corporate headquarters with a shiny sign on the roof. Instead, we have a small nameplate on the door. Inside, it’s mostly shelves full of files and a few desks for our staff. We handle the administration and the paperwork for the company here. The atmosphere is very quiet, mostly because we are in a residential area. We have to be careful not to make too much noise and bother the families living next door. We aren't a big team, usually just five or six of us working on any given day. There is a small balcony where we keep some plants, though they don't always get enough water. We eat our lunch together and talk about regular stuff. The furniture is practical and nothing fancy. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just focus on doing our work correctly and keeping everything organized. It’s a very simple, down-to-earth way of running things. We like being part of the local community here in Katraj. It’s a modest setup but it serves its purpose for what we do.
