Our warehouse and office are located at Plot No. 203 in Sector 23, over in the Ulwe Gunde area. We deal with agrofoods, which basically means a lot of grains and other food products pass through our doors every single day. The place can get quite dusty, especially when the big trucks arrive to unload their cargo. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a long time. We spend most of our hours checking the quality of the bags and making sure everything is stored properly. It is not a very glamorous way to make a living, but it is steady and honest work. Ulwe Gunde is still being built up in many ways, so the roads can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, but we make it work. We have to pay a lot of attention to the seasons because that dictates what kind of stock we have in the warehouse. Some months we are working late every night, and other months it is a bit quieter. The office is just a tiny room tucked away in the corner of the building. We do not have any decorations on the walls, just some calendars and clipboards. We just focus on getting the food from the farms to the people who need it. It is a lot of physical labor and counting, but we are used to it.
