Varunraj Restaurant & Bar / Saj Caterers

We operate as Varunraj Restaurant & Bar and also Saj Caterers. Our place is at 15 A/1 Saraswati Apartment, right near the Sharda Centre. This is in Erandwane, just off Karve Road. Erandwane is a pretty well-known part of Pune, and it has a mix of residential buildings and offices. Because of the Sharda Centre being nearby, we see a lot of people who work in the surrounding buildings coming in for a meal or a drink. We also do catering work, which keeps us pretty busy behind the scenes. The apartment building where we are located is just a regular one, and we've been in this spot for quite some time. A polished corporate restaurant is not what we are. It’s more of a local haunt where the tables might be a bit old and the service is just regular people doing their jobs. Karve Road is always noisy with traffic, but once you turn off into the lane toward Saraswati Apartment, it gets a little bit quieter. We don't really have any big plans or anything. We just cook food and serve drinks. Some days are hectic with catering orders, and other days we just wait for the evening crowd to show up. A dual life with the restaurant and the catering side is what we lead, but we manage. It’s just how we earn our living here. That's all there is to it.
