Vanuj Sweets

Vanuj Sweets is located on Nagar Road 24. It’s a busy spot because of the main road right outside. I spend my days behind the counter, looking out through the glass door at the constant stream of people and cars on Nagar Road 24. The shop is filled with various types of sweets, and I’m responsible for making sure they are all displayed correctly. I usually start by wiping down the counters and checking the stock in the back room. The lighting in Vanuj Sweets is a bit bright, but it makes everything look clear. I have a small fan behind me that keeps the air moving, which is nice when it gets humid in the afternoons. We don't really have any decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and the license for the shop framed near the door. People come in from all walks of life. Some are just passing through on their way out of the city, while others live right around the corner. I have a regular rhythm for my work—filling the trays, helping the customers, and cleaning up any spills that happen. Nagar Road 24 can be a loud place, but once I'm inside the shop, it feels a bit more contained. I don't really have a grand plan for the place. I just want to get through the day and make sure everything is in order before I leave. It’s just a normal shop on a normal road and I'm here every day.
