Uncles Chinese

We’ve been running Uncles Chinese for a while now over at Shop No 3/4 in the Merra Garden Society. It’s right there in Meera Nagar, Koregaon Park. The location is usually busy, mostly because of where we are situated in the society. There isn't a huge team here, just a few of us making sure every task gets done. People mostly find us when they’re walking around or if they live nearby. Our shop is small, nothing fancy at all, just a couple of counters and the kitchen area where we spend the bulk of our day. It gets pretty warm back there when the stoves are going. While we try to keep things organized, it often gets a bit hectic when several orders come in at the same time. Pune 411001 is where we stay most of the time. Advertising isn't something we really do, we just open the doors and get to work. Most mornings start early with getting the ingredients ready and cleaning up the space from the night before. It’s a regular local place. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first started. There are more shops around now than there used to be. We stick to what we know and keep the place running day after day. If you’re ever around Merra Garden, you’ll probably see us working there. It’s a simple setup, nothing more to it than that. Just a small business trying to do its part in Koregaon Park.
