My photography work happens mostly out of Akshar Elementa, over in Tathawade. Being in No. B2 1504 means I have a decent space for my gear. Most mornings involve checking my cameras and making sure the batteries are all charged up. I spend a lot of time near Vision One, just seeing what’s going on in the area. Tathawade is growing so fast, with new flats and shops everywhere. When I'm not out taking photos, I’m usually sitting at my desk editing. It’s a lot of hours looking at the screen. My eyes get tired after a while. I keep my bags packed and ready by the door because you never know when a shoot might happen. It’s not just about clicking pictures; there is a lot of carrying lights and stands around. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so I have to wait. It gives me a minute to think. I’ve lived in this part of town for a bit and I like how close everything is. There are days when the light is just perfect outside, and then there are days when it’s too grey. I just take what comes. It’s a one-man show mostly. I have some lenses that I really like using, though they are heavy. I try to keep the office tidy but there are always memory cards and cables lying around. It’s my workspace, so I know where everything is even if it looks like a mess.
