Sachin Khot'S Photography

Our studio for Sachin Khot'S Photography is over on Survey No. 48 in Behrab Nagar. If you are coming down Dhanoroi Road, you will probably see the Sai Baba temple nearby, which is a big landmark for us. We have been here for a good while now. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we have a lot of stuff shoved into the corners. Cameras, tripods, and those big white umbrellas for lighting are everywhere. It can get a bit cluttered when we are working on a big project. The road outside is usually dusty and there is always some traffic going towards the temple. We have a small desk where we sit and go through hundreds of photos on the computer, which can take hours and makes our eyes tired. My younger brother sometimes helps with the backdrop changes. We don't really do much fancy talk about art or anything like that. We just take the photos and try to make sure they look okay before people come to pick them up. The light in the afternoon comes through the side window in a weird way, so we usually have to pull the heavy curtains shut. It’s a quiet enough spot most days, except when there is a festival at the temple and the whole road gets blocked. We just stay here and do our thing every single day without much fuss.
