We have been here in Dana Bandar for a good while now. It started out as a small interest of mine that just kept growing until I needed a shop. Most days people come in because they need a quick passport photo or maybe they have a family event they want to remember. The desk here is usually a big mess. There are memory cards, lens caps, and charging cables scattered everywhere. I try to get the lighting just right, but the sun comes through the front window at a strange angle in the late afternoon. The kids from the street sometimes stop by just to look at the old film cameras I keep on the shelf. It is a loud area with all the traffic outside. When I am not taking photos, I am usually hunched over the computer screen. I spend hours trying to make the colors look natural. People think it is just about clicking a button, but there is a lot of waiting for the right look on someone’s face. I have seen so many different people over the years. Some are really shy and others will not stop talking while I am trying to focus. The walls in here probably need a new coat of paint. The floor gets dusty really fast from all the people walking in from the street. I always keep a spare battery on the charger just in case. It is a regular place. We just do the work.
