Nirmaan Studios

You’ll find Nirmaan Studios at 115/15 Sunmati Housing Society. We are very close to Alankar Theater and right next to Pune Station. Because we’re so close to the station, there’s always a lot of noise and energy in the air. People are always rushing around outside, but inside the studio, we try to keep things a bit more focused. We’ve been in this housing society for a while. It’s an interesting location because of all the travelers and locals passing through. The studio isn’t huge, but it’s got enough room for what we need to do. Spending time on projects that require a lot of sitting and thinking is how most of the day goes. Instead of a corporate office with a receptionist and fancy coffee, we just have a small kettle for tea. Trains passing by often make the windows rattle a little, but everyone has grown used to it by now. It’s actually kind of nice being in the middle of all that activity. We didn't choose this spot for any grand reason, it just worked out that way when we were looking for a place to set up. Most of our visitors are people who heard about us from someone else. We don’t really go out and hunt for business. We just stay here, do the work, and hope people like what we produce. It’s a simple life, being near the station and watching the city go by while we work on our bits and pieces.
