Living and working out of Flat No. 5 in Mahesh Apartment here in Junnar keeps things pretty simple for us. Raviwar Paith is a busy area, and being near Lonar Ali means there is always something happening outside the window. We started this photography thing because we liked taking pictures of people and the hills around here. Most of the time, the flat is filled with tripods, different lenses, and a few lights we move around. It’s not a big commercial studio, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time out on the roads in Junnar, heading to weddings or small family functions. Sometimes we are up early for the morning light, and other times we are editing until late at night when the apartment building is quiet. Sanjay is usually the one handling the camera while the rest of us help with the bags or the lighting setup. It gets a bit cramped when too many people come over to look at their photos, but we make it work with some tea and extra stools. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just try to get a clear shot that looks decent. It is a local business and we know most of the neighbors around Mahesh Apartment. People stop by to chat about their events. We just take it day by day and try to keep the gear clean.
