Sweet Shoppe

Our little shop is located at Clarion Park on D P Road, specifically Shop No A-6. We’ve been here in Aundh for a while now, right on the 2nd Main Road. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or anything. It is just a regular shop where we sell sweets and some snacks. The space is a bit tight, especially when more than three people come in at once. We keep the counters stocked as much as we can throughout the day. My brother and I manage the place, and usually, one of us is in the back preparing the next batch while the other handles the customers. The D P Road area is always busy, so there is a lot of noise from the vehicles passing by. We have a few regulars who come in every single morning for their fix of fresh items. Sometimes we get the proportions of the syrup slightly off, but most folks don't seem to mind. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy packaging. We just use plain boxes and focus on making sure the food tastes like it should. It’s hard work, standing on our feet all day, especially in the summer heat. But we’ve lived in Aundh a long time, and we like being part of the neighborhood. We are just a local sweet shop trying to keep things going one day at a time.
