About Surshree Sabhagruha/Shreeya Caterers – Tourism in Pune
We operate out of 727 Budhwar Peth, which is right near the Kasba Ganpati temple. This is an old part of Pune, and the roads are quite narrow and crowded. Our place is a mix of a hall for gatherings and the catering side of things. Most days involve moving chairs around or setting up tables for whatever event is happening. When there’s a function, the whole place gets very noisy with people talking and the clattering of plates. We handle the cooking in the back, where it’s usually quite hot and cramped. Being so close to Jijamata Bag means there’s always a lot of foot traffic outside on Ganesh Road. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a big sign; people just know the building. The walls are thick, which helps keep it a bit cooler, but it’s still a lot of work to maintain an old structure like this. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with families who are planning small events or just want food delivered. It's not a fancy office or anything, just a functional space with a lot of history. There’s always someone sweeping the front steps or carrying crates of supplies through the narrow entrance. It’s a busy life here in the heart of the city, and we just try to keep up with the daily tasks as they come. There is always a lot to do to keep things moving.
