Suprita Pan Stall

Suprita Pan Stall is situated right in the Bhosarigoan Industrial Area Phase 2. Since this is an industrial zone, most of the people who come to us are workers from the factories nearby. They usually drop by during their short breaks or right after their long shifts are finished. It gets very busy around lunch time and then again in the late evening when the factory whistles start blowing. The stall is a very simple structure. We had to build it to be sturdy because there is a lot of wind and dust in this part of town. We sell the usual things like maghai pan and some cigarettes. We also keep matches and small packets of biscuits for people who are hungry. Working in an industrial area means we see a lot of people who are in a big hurry. They do not always have time to talk, so we have to be very quick with our hands. We can usually tell which factory someone works at just by looking at the color of their uniform. Phase 2 is a big area, so we are glad to have a spot near one of the main gates. We start our day very early in the morning before the first shift of workers arrives. Sometimes it is quite cold outside, so we use a small heater to stay warm. We do not use any fancy machines here. Everything is done by hand with the leaves we buy every few days.
