Subhashchandra P Jain

I’m Subhashchandra P Jain and my office is located at A2/903 in Atul Nagar, which is in the Warje area. This is a residential complex, so it’s a lot quieter than the main roads. My unit is on the ninth floor, which gives me a pretty good view of Warje and the highway in the distance. I’ve turned one of the rooms into my workspace so I can keep my personal life and work a bit separate, even though they’re in the same building. It’s a simple setup with a wooden desk and a couple of guest chairs. I don't have a staff of people running around. It’s just me doing the work that needs to be done. I’ve lived in Atul Nagar for quite a few years now, so I’m very familiar with the neighborhood. I like the fact that I don’t have a long commute. I just walk down the hall and I’m at work. The office is full of books and old records because I like to keep a paper trail of everything. It’s not a high-tech lab, just a functional space for my daily tasks. People usually call before they come up to the ninth floor. It’s a humble way to run things, but it’s served me well over the years. I don’t feel the need for a big corporate office when I have everything I need right here in A2/903. The balcony is a good spot to think.
