I’m based over at Aalishan Complex on S.V. Road. It’s a well-known building, so most people don't have trouble finding the way here. My space is just a regular office where I handle my day-to-day business. It’s 1 S.V. Road, which is a busy street with plenty of things going on all the time. I’ve been working from here for a good while now, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The office itself is pretty simple. I’ve got my desk, a few chairs for visitors, and plenty of files tucked away in the corners. It’s not one of those polished, modern offices you see in magazines. It’s a place where real work happens and things get done. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times people are dropping in and out all morning to ask about different things. I don't follow any strict corporate rules here; I just deal with things as they come and try to be helpful. Being on S.V. Road means there’s always something to see out the window, even if it's just the usual traffic jams and people walking by. I like the energy of the area. I handle a variety of tasks depending on what’s needed that day. It’s a one-man show mostly, or just a small group of us keeping things ticking over until it's time to head home.
