I set up this place in Sangavi, right near the Vaishnavi Apartment. It’s a quiet enough area, though it has grown a lot since I first started out here. My day usually starts early with a cup of coffee and looking over the list of things that need to get done. I don't have a big staff or a fancy glass office. It’s just me and a couple of helpers sometimes, depending on how much work there is. People from the nearby apartments often walk over if they need something. It feels more like a neighborhood shop than a big company. I handle the accounts and the customer visits myself. Sometimes I’m out for half the day meeting people, so the shutters might be down for a bit. If you catch me when I’m in, we can sit down and talk through whatever you need. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the work gets done anyway. I’ve always preferred working this way, close to home and knowing the people I’m helping. There is no manual for how I run things; I just do what makes sense at the time. It’s a practical way to live. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, and business slows down, but we manage. It’s just a small local setup where I put in my hours every day. There is an old ceiling fan that clicks while it spins, but it keeps the air moving while I work on my ledgers and receipts.
