Arur Chand Bassi

Arur Chand Bassi is the name on the door here at 21 Bahu Patil Road. We are on the 4th Road. It's a pretty straightforward spot. I've been running things from here for a good while. The neighborhood has changed over the years, but we've stayed right here. It's a small operation. We don't have many employees, just a few of us who know the ropes. Our space is filled with the things we need to get through the day. It’s not a showroom or anything polished. It’s a workspace. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We just take it as it comes. Being on Bahu Patil Road is alright. It’s easy for deliveries to find us. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or just seeing the sign. I like the independence of running my own place. It means I'm responsible for everything, the good and the bad. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company. We just want to keep doing what we're doing. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. If you’re ever on 4th Road, you’ll likely see us there working away. It's a simple life and we like the routine of it all.
