Sneha Restaurant

Sneha Restaurant has been sitting here at Survey No 716 in Guruwar Peth for a good while now. We are right by Rashtra Bhushan Chowk, which is a busy spot in Pune, so there is always something going on outside our doors. The building is a bit older, like most things in this part of town, but it has a lot of character. We spend our days cooking up regular meals for the people who work in the nearby markets. It's not a place where you'll find anything too unusual, just the kind of food that reminds you of home. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I was a kid. Now I pretty much run the floor while he keeps an eye on the kitchen. We know most of the people who come in by name. The 411042 area is crowded and the streets are narrow, so getting supplies delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we make it work. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just some tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. When it rains, the sound on the roof is quite loud, but people still come in for a hot tea or a plate of food. It's just a regular local business trying to do things right every day. We aren't trying to be fancy, just serving food that tastes like it should.
