Silverdale High School

Panchgani is known for its hills and the cool air, and we are right there on the Ring Road. Our school, Silverdale High, sits in a spot where you can often see the clouds rolling in over the trees. It gets very misty here, especially in the mornings. The building has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it, which fits the vibe of the town. We have students who come here from different places, and they all have to get used to the winding roads and the hilly terrain. The classrooms are tucked away in different parts of the property. We have a lot of wooden features in the school, which gives it a bit of warmth. Walking along the Ring Road, you can see our sign and the main entrance clearly. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except when the kids are outside for their physical education classes. We don't have a lot of high-tech equipment, but we have plenty of space and fresh air. The staff lives nearby or right on the grounds, so it’s a tight-knit group of people. We drink a lot of tea to stay warm when the weather turns cold. There are usually monkeys hanging around the trees near the perimeter, which the kids find entertaining. We just take care of the grounds, teach the students, and watch the traffic go by on the road outside. It’s just one of those things you deal with in Panchgani.
