Billimoriya High School

Billimoriya High School has a long history up here in Panchgani. We are located right in the middle of the hill station, where the air is a lot cooler than down in the plains. The address is 412805 and everyone in town knows where we are. The school has a lot of old-style charm, with stone buildings and big open spaces. We have boarders here who live on the campus, so it is like a home for them for most of the year. The mornings can be very misty, and you can see the fog rolling over the hills while the kids are getting ready for school. We have a big playground where we do sports, and the view from there is actually quite nice. It is a lot of work running a boarding school because there is always something happening, even at night. The dining hall is a busy place three times a day. We have old wooden floors in some parts that creak when you walk on them. It is not a new, shiny building, but it has character. The teachers and the house parents stay busy looking after everyone. It is a routine that has not changed much over the decades. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, in this quiet corner of the hills. It is a unique place to grow up.
