Navdeep Public School

Navdeep Public School is tucked away in Gyanesh Park. It is not one of those massive schools with a stadium. We are on Lane Number 1, right near Krishna Chowk in Pune 27. The address says C/O Ranjit Gorpade at Plot Number 13, so that is where you find us. The kids make a lot of noise during recess, which is to be expected. It is a local place for families who live nearby. We have Jully Zadoo here handling things. The area is quite green, which is nice for the city. Sometimes the cows wander into the lane and slow down the school bus, but everyone is used to that. The classrooms are simple. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that, just big windows and fans. In the mornings, the air feels fresh before the city traffic really starts up. We have a small playground area, though it's more like a yard. It is a tight-knit community here in Pune. Parents often stop by just to chat or ask how things are going. We try to keep a relaxed atmosphere because kids learn better when they aren't scared. The chalkboard dust gets everywhere, especially on my shoes. It's a humble setup, but it works for the neighborhood. We are just a regular part of the local scene here and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just teaching the local kids.
