Sahyadri National School

Sahyadri National School sits right on NDA Road in Warje. If you know Pune, you know how busy that 411029 area has become over the last decade. Our address is 140/2, and it’s a spot that sees a lot of traffic passing by. The sound of buses and cars is just part of our background music. We have a decent-sized building, and the kids are always spilling out of the classrooms as soon as the bell rings. It’s a bit of a rush every afternoon when the school buses line up outside. We’ve got teachers who have been here since the start, and they’ve seen the neighborhood change from quiet fields to these crowded streets. The school isn't some high-tech glass building; it's just a regular place with concrete walls and wooden benches. We try to keep the garden near the entrance looking somewhat green, though the Pune sun makes that a challenge sometimes. We don't spend money on big advertisements or polished videos. Most people find us because they live nearby or their neighbors' kids go here. It’s a straightforward school life. We deal with broken crayons, lost shoes, and the occasional rainy day when the courtyard gets puddles. It’s a lot of work keeping up with hundreds of kids, but we just take it one day at a time and do what needs to be done. It’s messy but it’s our job.
