Silk Route The Oriental Restaurant is over at Sr No 357/1 Pingle Corner in Koregaon Park. We are tucked away in the Cosmos Bank Lane, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Pune. Koregaon Park is always full of energy, and there are so many places to go, but we have our own little corner here. The restaurant has been around for a bit, and we mostly get people who live in the apartments nearby or those who know the lane well. It’s not a giant place with hundreds of tables. It’s a bit more modest than that. We don't use a lot of big words or marketing talk to get people in. Most of our customers come because they were walking down the lane and decided to stop in. The kitchen is always busy with the smells of different spices and sauces going all day. Sometimes the lane gets blocked with cars and it’s hard to find parking, which is just part of being in KP. Our staff is a small team and we just focus on getting the food to the tables while it’s still hot. We don't have a fancy website or a big PR firm. We just open the doors every day and see who comes in from the neighborhood. It is a good place to hide away for a bit when the rest of the city feels too loud and fast. We just keep our heads down and cook every day for the people who walk in.
