Siddhakala Enterprises

Siddhakala Enterprises is based in Warje Malwadi at the address 79/2. We occupy a ground floor space that stays mostly cool during the day. The office is filled with desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are stuffed with old records. We deal with various supplies and paperwork that keep us busy from nine in the morning until late. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it is on the highest setting but it keeps the air moving. Out the window, you can see the main road and the people walking toward the bus stop. We have a small area in the back for washing up and making some coffee in the afternoon. The walls have a few calendars pinned up to keep track of the dates. It is a functional space without any unnecessary decorations. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing on the computers. The keyboards are a bit dusty because we leave the windows open for the breeze. There is always a stack of papers waiting to be sorted on the corner of my desk. Neighbors often poke their heads in to say hello on their way past the building. It is a steady environment where we just focus on getting the daily tasks finished before it gets dark outside. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of work to catch up on.
