Shri Narayandas Ramdas High School And Junior College is a long name for a place that feels like home to many of us here in Indapur. We have both the younger kids and the older college students on the same site. It makes for a very busy atmosphere. There are always people moving between the buildings. The junior college side is usually a bit more serious because of the board exams. We spend a lot of time in the staff room talking about which students need more help. It’s not a polished corporate institution. We have creaky doors and benches that have seen better days. But they work just fine for sitting and learning. We don't have a fancy website with professional photos. If you want to see the school, you just walk in and look around. The trees in the courtyard provide some shade during the hot afternoons. We have a small library where the books are a bit dusty but well-read. The principal’s office is usually open if someone has a problem. We don't use complicated words to explain our teaching. We just follow the government syllabus and try to make sure everyone understands it. It’s a community school through and through. We’ve been part of Indapur for years and plan to stay that way for a long time yet.
